Yesterday the Brazilian city of São Paulo hosted the world’s largest gay Pride Parade! 4.5 million people filled the streets in an all-day celebration.
Not only is the parade an excellent place to dance and meet a bunch of diverse and new people, it is also a friendly event which can be enjoyed by entire families, like the one in the picture above. =]
The event was preceded by an LGBT Cultural fair, which included musicians, shops, food, a Gay Day at an amusement park and even a drag volleyball tournament.
Even though the city still has problems with homophobia (recently a few hate crimes against LGBTQ people were reported) São Paulo was elected the 4th most LGBT-friendly city in the world and should definitively be considered as the destination for your next vacation!
